Our holiday homes are quietly situated in the old market town of bishops stortford near stansted airport. Its an ideal destination for a city-break style holiday being half way between cambridge and london. Both are easily accessible by train. There are plenty of other places to explore by bus but a car for a day or two would make it easy to visit the charming 'olde worlde' essex and suffolk villages. Hertfordshire is still a rural county and there are many pleasant walks around the edge of town and along the river.
